As many of you know, the Belvoir Aldershot office put in place a number of solutions to allow all of our staff to continue working and supporting our tenants and landlords as well as those already in the process of selling or buying a home with us.
As a result we were able to continue with the majority of our day to day services, with all staff working remotely whilst observing the lockdown and social distancing measures set out by the government. We’re really proud of the whole team in being able to use the technology to work effectively in this situation and the feedback from our clients is that they would not even have noticed we weren’t physically in the office as we still had access to everything we needed to continue.
Resuming Viewings – Safety Measures and Response
So now that the government have advised that viewings can resume, we are taking measures to continue to keep our staff and members of the public safe, and are seeing a fantastic response.
This includes normal service on the phones and emails, as well as taking enquiries through our online presence on our website, Zoopla and on the market and using our social media channels.
We are opening our office, with correct protection in place for our staff and visitors, initially on an appointment basis, to ensure that if you need to see someone face to face you can do so in as safe and secure an environment as possible. If you need to collect keys, sign paperwork, or any other service in person all you have to do is let us know and we’ll book you in.
Ensuring Viewing Safety – COVID-19 Precautions
We are able to offer viewings in properties, where the risk has been correctly asessed. We ask each party to confirm that they have not been exposed to the virus, and that they have no symptoms. We ensure correct social distancing is adhered to, we wear appropriate PPE and that all doorhandles etc are disinfected following the viewing. This is just a small overview, but you can rest assured that avoiding risk is at the top of our priorities at all times.
We want to ensure that everyone we work with is looked after not only by offering consistant service levels, but that we can do whatever we can to protect yours and your loved ones health too.
