Every year in Aldershot, people from all over the town get together to celebrate Victoria Day. This year it falls on Saturday 9th June 2018, and we in the Belvoir Aldershot have a prime view of the parade as it passes down Victoria road, and round into Station road.
Betty Bryce Takes the Spotlight as Aldershot’s Queen Victoria, Leading a Day of Festivities
Betty Bryce will be Aldershot’s very own Queen Victoria for the day, leading the way in her carriage! The streets always fill with dancers from the local schools, and community groups, whilst Marching Bands provide the music, and Normandy Veterans walk on parade, and we’ve even been known to see a Chinese dragon or two!
It’s a great sight to see, and really shows what an amazing and diverse community there is in Aldershot, we’ll look forward to seeing you all there!
