One year after announcing a charity fundraising drive, national property lettings specialist, Belvoir, has smashed its original target and raised over £16,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Belvoir, which has 140 plus offices across the UK, originally set a goal of £10,000 when it launched its campaign with a ‘Go Green Day’ on 1 February 2011.
But it achieved that figure within the first seven months and spurred on by this success, the company has renewed its commitment to the charity and will continue to raise funds, via a wide range of events and activities, for a further year.
“I am incredibly proud that Belvoir’s UK wide offices have achieved so much for Macmillan,” says Dorian Gonsalves, chief executive officer of the company.
“This was the first time that Belvoir had aligned itself with a national charity, and one reason we have done it is to help unite the group and work towards something together,” explains franchise support advisor, Ellie Wallis.
