The Belvoir Central Office team celebrated Yorkshire Day with a flat cap decorating event and a refreshing cuppa to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“Belvoir has raised over £25,000 for Macmillan in the past two years,” says Belvoir marketing manager Reena Patel. “Macmillan Cancer Support is such a worthwhile cause as the disease affects so many individuals, as well as their families and friends. When Emma Greenfield, Belvoir’s Premises Coordinator saw that 1st August 2013 was Yorkshire Day, she decided to host a fun event where staff decorated flat caps in Macmillan green and enjoyed a refreshing cuppa and a cake in aid of charity.
“Belvoir now has over 150 offices nationwide and many of our franchise owners raise thousands of pounds by hosting quite high profile events such as charity golf days and family fun days throughout the year. However something as simple as an office tea party can be a perfect way for an office to add funds to the Belvoir charity pot. In this case it was Belvoir’s charity tea pot!”
