Camden Welcomes Another Award Winner To The Neighbourhood
– Belvoir Lettings Launches Central London Office
Award winning lettings agency, Belvoir Lettings, has made itself at home alongside a host of other ‘star performers’ with the launch of its latest franchise – Belvoir Camden. Belvoir Franchisee Dominic Swinfield has opened for business on Chalk Farm Parade in Camden. The office is within the Primrose Hill neighbourhood favoured by many award winning stars of the entertainment world.
Within a week after its launch, Belvoir Camden already had a healthy portfolio of properties and Dominic, an entrepreneur with a wealth of estate agency experience, has confidently identified potential for immediate significant growth. Having worked in Hampstead, one of the most desirable locations in the country, Dominic has an extensive knowledge of the central London property market.
He said: “Typical tenants in the area will pay between £300 to £2500 per week for a well presented property. The tenants range from arty media types through to bankers who are looking to escape Canary Wharf. There have been huge changes in the property market over the last ten years. The rental market has come into its own because people can’t afford to purchase, which makes my job all the more exciting”.
Having successfully run the Hampstead estate agency for several years, Dominic felt he had gained enough experience to set up on his own. He chose to become a Belvoir franchisee because of the support he would receive. “Being a Belvoir franchisee gives me the security to run my own business in what we all know are uncertain times”.
A hugely ambitious and driven individual, Dominic is already looking towards his next goal – opening more offices in the area and then expanding to West London. However, it is doubtful that he will get an office with such an interesting past as the Camden location. The building is famous in its own right having appeared in a Madness album photo shoot and there is a strong rumour that the office was previously used by Jamiroquai.
Dominic, who is a keen pilot having learnt how to fly in Miami in 2006, is looking forward to becoming a high flyer in the Camden area. “This is a thriving location with huge potential”, he said. “We are located only one mile away from the most expensive properties in the UK and I look forward to the challenges of working in an area such as this. I know I have a fantastic team behind me and I’m sure we will go from strength to strength.”
