Desborough is a small, fast growing town, situated in the heart of England. Placed on the border between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire the town in perfectly suited to professional commuters to London, Birmingham, Coventry and Milton Keynes. Desborough has been an important place of settlement for thousands of years. Remains have been found here from the stone age, 10,000 years ago.

It is a town with a rich character with strong community served by two primary schools, a children centre and two nurseries. A recently built state of the art doctors surgery complimented by its sister surgery a mile away in Rothwell.
Rothwell is also where you will also find a top secondary school, Montsaye Academy which was rated “good – with outstanding features” in its last ofsted report.
Desborough is also very outward looking and is one of the founding 12 members of the Charter of European Rural Communities and through this we now have links with all the other 26 other EU members. The Charter of European Rural Communities began in 1989. A small rural community from each of the European Union member states formed a bond of friendship. The charter motto is, “People meet people.”
The town continues to develop with several housing projects currently taking place, such as “The Grange”, a joint project by several house building companies, and Jelson Homes’s “Carisbrooke Grange”.
Magnetic Park is a project to build a business park in Desborough, most construction has been completed attracting new businesses into the area.
