The week has flown by and Friday is here again, (although not such a sunny one today) which means it’s time to take a look at our top viewed property listings from this week. It seems some areas are difficult to knock out the top three as once again we visit Congleton, Swansea and the one that just managed to get in there… Dundee. We’ll also take a look at some top property news from around the web.
Today we start in Dundee at this modern and well maintained 1 bedroom apartment to rent. Located just outside the city centre this apartment is perfect for the young professional or taking that first step to living on your own. At a bargain £320 a month, it is no wonder it has racked up over 100 views this week. Attractive, FURNISHED, bright and airy, this flat is situated on the third floor of a clean and tidy block.
It’s all about renting this week and keeping up there in second place again our trip takes us to Swansea with a new property. Another one for the young professionals with 117 views this week is this beautiful two bedroom apartment. At £645 per month, not only do you get a beautifully furnished apartment complete with modern kitchen, stylish bathroom and two double rooms, it is all topped off with magnificent views taking you right over to the Mumbles point. Everyone loves something a little bit different and this property has a quirky feature wall which adds real character. Situated in the increasingly popular area of Uplands with easy access to the City Centre, there is no doubt that it will soon be snapped up.
To complete our trip and moving up to the top spot from third last week is this gorgeous newly built property in Congleton for sale with Belvoir Macclesfield. With nearly 200 views this week, it is clearly still a firm favourite with our buyers. Beautifully decorated throughout this 4 bedroom house is just perfect for any family. A private garden which allows no interruptions and a detached garage, perfect for storing the overflowing stacks of toys, it is a must view. With three double bedrooms and one single room, there is more than enough space for all.
From the web…
This week we take a look at an article from Property Industry Eye. There has been a lot of discussion in the rental marketplace since ex-Chancellor, George Osbourne implemented some tax changes that could prove disastrous for some landlords. We decided to speak out, and ask the new government to look in to reversing the decisions of the previous government and ensure security and stability within the rental market. Our Managing Director, Dorian Gonsalves said “Disastrous anti-landlord tax policies which were introduced by George Osborne at the last Budget are likely to continue deterring landlords from further investment in the rental market. As we predicted, this is restricting the supply of available rental properties and resulting in rental increases.”
