It’s that time of the week again when we take a look around the country at the most viewed listings of the week. We don’t know about you but August seems to have crept up on us out of nowhere, this week our tour takes us to Aberdeen, Rugby and Guildford…see it as the Olympics of property, watch out, Rio! We also take a look at a rather bizarre property news story from around the web that you don’t want to miss!
If you’re after a modern family home then this Guildford 3-bed terrace might just be the one for you. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac it’s the perfect home to raise your young family in. With a spacious garden for the kids to run around in and off-street parking, the house has a lot going for it. We’re not surprised that it has totalled over 160 views on the listing page this week. This home also has fantastic transport links with Guildford’s train station just under 2 miles away with good links to London by both rail and road. Want to view the full listing?
In second place this week with over 200 listing views is Belvoir Rugby with this refurbished 2-bed semi. With the £725/month rent, Zoopla estimates a total monthly running cost of £939 including the rent. Boasting a modern, fitted kitchen, off-street parking and a garage it’s the perfect property for setting up in your first home together. Rugby station is just 1 mile away with fantastic links to both London and Birmingham making this a great option for city workers! To find out more information and to view the full listing.
It is time to crown this week’s gold medal winner after racking up an astounding *sits down* 625 views on their listing, Aberdeen and this week’s reigning champions! This beautiful 4 bed home has certainly caught the eye of many property lovers this week and we can definitely see why! This gated home boasts parking for at least 4 cars, a walk-in wardrobe, a Jacuzzi bath…do we actually need to go on? Now comes the time when we take a look at the interesting, wonderful and in this case, bizarre stories from around the web. This week, Metro Property reported on a rather confusing story of a man trying to sell his house (stay with us on this one).
When Chris Meyer from Carlisle went to sell his flat, he found out that due to a mix-up with Land Registry, he actually owns the flat next door, meanwhile, his neighbours own his! Plus, Chris and his neighbours aren’t the only ones affected, in fact, 10 out of the 15 flats in the block have found out that they face the same problem!
