Make a great first impression by adding kerb appeal to your property and improving its entrance, you can make a real style statement by simply replacing the front door. It’s all in the detail, so to go that extra mile why not add a few planters, or even a seasonal wreath- these are a great accessory to really make those heads turn.
Get cosy
With the night’s drawing in, and winter just around the corner, it is time to dig out the warm throws and fluffy slippers. To make sure your property is even more comfortable and cosier, it might be worth turning your attention to some of the essentials. Such as your windows, if you still have wooden windows, then it may be time to replace them with energy efficient double glazing. Updating your central heating to a modern and efficient system could potentially save you money and hassle in the long run. If you have a fire place, why not update it with a wood-burning stove, these are eco-friendly and could be an attraction for potential buyers in the future.
Maximise your living space
Growing out of your home doesn’t necessary mean that you need to purchase a larger property, there are plenty of options out there for you to consider. Open plan living is one, this is a great way for you to utilise your space and is becoming a lot more common in modern housing. Other ideas are adding a conservatory, an extension or why not go up and add in a loft conversion- these can all be made bespoke to fit your requirements and needs.

Set yourself a weekend paint project, as simple as it sounds a touch of paint can help freshen up your home and bring it up to date. With autumn/winter just around the corner, there are plenty of on trend colour palettes out there for you to choose from. This is also a great way to help set the scene for any future changes you may have in mind.
