Businesswoman Charlotte Baker is using the successful Belvoir lettings agency business she owns in Melton Mowbray as the blueprint for the launch of a second office in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.
With her wealth of experience in the lettings industry, Charlotte is confident that the new operation at 18 Market Place is the perfect location for a satellite office to bring Belvoir’s award winning service to landlords and tenants in Bingham and surrounding areas.
And her choice of location took some inspiration from Bingham being named in 2013 as the best place in England to bring up a family.

Bingham, which has a population of 9,000, topped a study that examined factors including quality of schools, childcare provision, affordability of living and crime levels.
Says Charlotte: “We have been looking at areas for expansion for some time. This survey reinforced our findings that Bingham was an area of interest and potential.”
The Family Investments survey identified that areas in the Midlands and the North of England are now more prominent thanks to more affordable housing in relation to the south.
“This shares our experience of the way the rental market has changed in recent years and how it has grown in areas such as Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. There are lots of new build developments in Bingham and that is always an indication of a healthy rental market.
“The knowledge we have gained over the last 16 years with our Melton Mowbray award winning property management and lettings service, will be used to expand our portfolio by at least another 100 managed properties in Nottinghamshire over the next two years,” added Charlotte.
