Looking for somewhere to rent with your friends in your student year? Here are the 7 easy steps to securing your desired home
Step 1: We have properties that suit a range of different students, so take a look and get your viewings booked in to find the property best suited to you. If you’re unable to get all your friends to view the property at once don’t panic! You can view the same property more than once to make sure everyone is happy and would like to move forward with that property.
Step 2: During your viewing, you will receive one of our business cards which provide our email. Nominate someone to be your lead Tenant who will be the person predominately communicating with us on behalf of your group. They can then request a Tenants details table, which will need to be completed with the details of all Tenants and each of your guarantors. Every student will need a guarantor who is able to provide proof of being a homeowner in the next steps. Alternatively, if you are unable to provide a home owner Guarantor you can pay Rent in advance or use Housing Hand.
Step 3: Once we have received all Tenants details, we can then move onto the next steps guiding you on how to pay your holding deposit. Once the Holding Deposit has been paid we will start referencing, you will need to provide the required documentation; 2x proof of address, student ID, Guarantor proof of home ownership, Guarantor ID and complete Right to Rent checks. You will have 1 week to complete this process.
Step 4: After your application has been accepted and we have all the right documents, you will be sent your contract which you will be able to sign through an online system called Signable.
Step 5: Once you have secured your new home, you must send us your deposit and first month’s rent on the 01 June 2025. We suggest sending this from one account – ideally your lead Tenant will be responsible for this.
Step 6: We will meet you at the property on your move-in date, to hand over your set of keys, test fire alarms. You will receive the Prescribed Information and your Inventory prior to this appointment.
Step 7: The place is yours to call home and enjoy!
