Selling your home is naturally an emotive process, your home is a place where memories are made, that’s why it is so important to pick an agent that understands this.
Finding the right agent is one of the biggest parts of the process. You want to ensure you’re picking an agent that has a wealth of experience and knowledge. At Belvoir, we have over 21 years’ experience in property and each of our 170+ offices is owned and run by a local person. Each Belvoir expert has a passion for property and can help through every step of the process – ensuring you get all of the answers you need, when you need them.
It is imperative you find out exactly how your home will be marketed. If your agent doesn’t market the property in the correct way, you could be waiting for a buyer for a long time. At Belvoir, we use many methods to ensure each property reaches a maximum possible audience. We start by advertising them in our shop windows, and right here on the Belvoir website. We also utilise the likes of Rightmove and Zoopla whilst maintain a strong presence on social media. We want to make sure that every property for sale with Belvoir is seen by the people that would be most interested in buying it. Therefore, we can quickly and efficiently find a buyer for your home.
If you’d prefer, one of our friendly local experts can conduct the viewings of your property on your behalf. We will always get in touch with you first to arrange a mutually agreeable time for us to come and show prospective buyers around and we’ll try not to disturb you too much!
Our offices are full of expertise, and we’re here to help you through every step of the way. We’re a detail-driven business that goes the extra mile for customers. We can be as hands on or hands off as you need to ensure your house is sold efficiently.
We are required by law to conduct anti-money laundering checks on all those selling or buying a property. Whilst we retain responsibility for ensuring checks and any ongoing monitoring are carried out correctly, the initial checks are carried out on our behalf by Lifetime Legal who will contact you once you have agreed to instruct us in your sale or had an offer accepted on a property you wish to buy. The cost of these checks is £60 (incl. VAT), which covers the cost of obtaining relevant data and any manual checks and monitoring which might be required. This fee will need to be paid by you in advance of us publishing your property (in the case of a vendor) or issuing a memorandum of sale (in the case of a buyer), directly to Lifetime Legal, and is non-refundable. We will receive some of the fee taken by Lifetime Legal to compensate for its role in the provision of these checks.
