Autumn is in full swing! As the nights draw in take time to get cosy with some of our top tips!
Make your space cuddle-worthy!
Try adding blankets to your sofa, extra pillows maybe even some fluffy socks! Make a little nest to get cosy in during the coming cooler evenings.
You can even add some of those warm autumn colours, try burnt orange and forest greens.
Fill the senses
Candles/diffusers can do a lot to lift a space and up its cosy factor! Try lighting some candles with warm spicy scents! Alternatively, you can try making a stovetop scent.
Ingredients
- ½ cup fresh cranberries
- 1 orange quartered.
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon of whole cloves
- a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan and cover with water.
- Simmer on low.
- Enjoy the warm scent as it fills the house with that cosy feeling!
Bring nature home
Changing up small parts of decor in your home can be a fab way of embracing each season, why not include some nature in your home, from pinecones to pumpkins it can be a lovely way to embrace each season.
Hobby the time away.
As the evenings draw in and those summer evenings become distant memories, with your newfound cosy time why not try taking up a new hobby? You could try knitting/crochet and make a cosy scarf to warm up with this winter. or start reading some new atmospheric books like “Hounds of the Baskerville” or “Dracula?”
