In January we started our own blog post series focusing on all the different areas of Corby.
The insightful series has become very popular, covering Danesholme, Beanfield, Priors Hall Park and Little Stanion so far.
This month, the fifth instalment of our popular Focus On series of blog posts looks at Exeter.
Why you should consider Exeter
Exeter is one of the more affordable areas of Corby and is close to the town centre, which means it is walking distance to a number of useful amenities.
Exeter is walking distance from the train station, which provides a regular, direct route to London and offers different housing options from flats to houses.
A dedicated bus service also runs from Exeter to the town centre for those who prefer to travel by public transport.
Local amenities in the area
The area is served by popular primary school, Exeter – A Learning Community, which has recently been rated as Good for the first time by Ofsted. It offers education for children up to Year 6.
Tresham College is also close by for older students.
Global fast food chain KFC provides tasty, speedy meals for locals, and there are two kebab shops to choose from plus a dessert station.
There is a petrol station and car wash in Exeter too for the convenience of residents.
A large play park with playground offers outdoor space for families to picnic, play football or fly a kite.
Supermarket chain Lidl is just down the road for groceries and there is a small convenience store in the area too.
