This an area one of my landlords purchased in. This example is a two bed and its being advertised by Miller Hendry.
It’s a good sized, two bedroom, upper flat, good location for schools, transport links and local amenities.
As the details say it would benefit from some modernisation and I cant see any mention of heating apart from a new gas fire. However none of that is insurmountable and I don’t think it would be too expensive or difficult to significantly improve the property.
Once the work was done, I would estimate the monthly rent to be comfortably in the vicinity of £475 with an asking price of £84,000 that’s a yield of 6.2%, additionally, prices for 2 bed flats in this area have appreciated over 25% in the last 10 years. Definitely worth a cheeky offer.
