How can you find a good property deal in Grantham?
I was talking to one of my landlords the other day, when he explained there were no property bargains for him to buy in Grantham. We don’t sell property and don’t charge for our advice, so we can give impartial advice without any conflict of interest to our landlords. Here is what I discovered recently about finding bargains that I had discovered over the last few months.
A 4 bed detached on the Sunningdale estate sold in 2010 for £189,950. In March 2012, she sold again for £155,000, a drop in value of 10.1%! A 3 bed town house on the old Marco’s site, sold for £109,500 in February this year. When new, it sold for £135,000 in 2009, these are excellent value properties.
Finally, one of those nice detached houses, opposite the hospital on Manthorpe Road, sold for £295,000 in 2005. Considering property values are much of those being achieved in 2005, some lucky person picked up a bargain in February, when it sold again for £240,000.
