Calling all students…
As we come to the end of the student tenancies this summer, we would like to offer a few friendly tips about the end of your tenancy and deposit return.
Cleaning – Please refer to the emails sent to all from our student team regarding cleaning, we have details of cleaners who will quote for you if needed. Properties need to be returned in the same condition as when you moved in, the original inventory will be used for reference. All of your belongings need to be taken, any items left will be removed at your cost
Key returns – Please return all keys that were given to you at the start of the tenancy. If you cannot get to the office during opening hours, please put these through our letterbox. If any keys have been lost, please report this to our student team as soon as you can so that we can organise new keys for the new tenancy.
Once keys are returned, our student team (Sylvia, Santa, Toby & Leonie) will visit the property to complete the final check out inspection. They will then be in touch with you as soon as they can, please bear with them at this extremely busy time.
Utility bills/deposit – We will need your proof of closure of utility bills, please send these across once you have them and we can then refund your deposit. This can be emails, letters, or screen shots of online chats with your utility companies to show that the account is either closed, showing a zero balance, or moved to a new address. Please also complete our online proforma, a form where we collect the bank account details in order to return your deposit. When completing you will also need to include a forwarding address for each tenant.

We recommend starting your search 4 – 5 weeks prior to the date you are looking to move in. The majority of properties on the market are available now or in the next month so please do not start your search too early.
As properties are moving so quickly at present, we would advise signing up for Rightmove alerts so that you are notified as soon as a property goes live that matches your chosen criteria. Unfortunately, we do not keep lists of people looking for properties due to the volume of enquiries that we receive every day.
Viewing slots are limited for each property so please ensure you let us know if you are not going to make your viewing, the earlier we know, the more chance we have of filling your slot!
