Management changes aim to build on Belvoir's success

Mike Goddard, who recently celebrated his 61st birthday, has used this milestone to stand down as CEO and take on the role of Chairman. Operations Director, Dorian Gonsalves is Belvoir’s new Managing Director and will take over the day-to-day direction of the Company.

Speaking of his new appointment Dorian said: “I’m delighted, proud, excited – all of these emotions rolled into one, and I can’t express how pleased I am with our past achievements, and what lies ahead for the future.”

Shareholder Commitment – Belvoir’s Future Growth and Stability

Belvoir’s shareholders, who include Stephanie and Andrew Goddard, have no current intention of selling the Company, but are investing to take Belvoir to the next level. Andrew will continue to work in Belvoir, providing vital legal and accounts support, but on a reduced three-day week, based at home.

In a tribute to Dorian and Andrew, Mike said: “They have driven the company for the last four years and succeeded in doubling network turnover, almost doubling the network size and built and developed an effective, loyal Central Office team. They have guided Belvoir through unprecedented economic challenges and brought us to where we are today. I am massively indebted to their contribution to Belvoir.

“I have every confidence that under Dorian’s new leadership Belvoir will grow to greater heights and continue to be respected and admired by the property and franchising industry.”

As Belvoir’s Chairman Mike will act as an ambassador for the Company, working from home for three days a week. He will also continue as Chairman of the British Franchise Association (bfa), serve on the Board of the Property Ombudsman, and undertake public speaking engagements.

Belvoir’s Future – Network Expansion and Brand Development

So, what is Dorian’s vision for the future? “My vision includes increasing the network to 200 offices within the next three years and further developing our well-defined brand to truly represent our core values of customer service, professionalism and specialization.”
