Belvoir is delighted to announce that two of its Franchise Owners are finalists in the bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards. The national bfa annual awards, sponsored by HSBC and Express Newspapers, highlight the outstanding efforts, achievements and stories of the UK’s top franchisees.
Outstanding Belvoir Franchise Owners
After a call for nominations from Central Office the following five Belvoir Franchise Owners were put forward to represent their regions in the awards:
• Mike Campbell, Belvoir Falkirk
• Wayne Mearns, Belvoir Southend-on-Sea & Belvoir Basildon
• Greg Greatbatch & Phil Pinkney, Belvoir Andover
• Luke & Jonathon Mason, Belvoir Hitchin
• Pamela Schure & Colin Belton, Belvoir Cumbria
Of the above Franchise Owners, Wayne Mearns, and husband and wife team Pamela Schure and Colin Belton were invited to the live interview stage on 28th July.
“The standard of entries of all five Franchise Owners was impeccable and it was an honour for them to be nominated as regional finalists, “ said Belvoir Marketing Coordinator Reena Patel. “However, we were delighted that Wayne, Pamela and Colin were chosen as finalists and understand that they gave outstanding presentations.
Nervous Anticipation – Awaiting the Winners
“We now face a nervous wait until the winners are announced at what promises to be a glittering black tie event in Birmingham on Thursday, 30th September and wish Wayne, Pamela and Colin every success.”
The Gold Winner of the awards will receive £5,000 cash from HSBC, together with a commemorative trophy and the title bfa/HSBC Franchisee of the Year. The Silver and Bronze Winners will receive £3,000 and £2,000 respectively courtesy of HSBC.
