Happy 15th birthday Belvoir Loughborough!

Jim Mitchell celebrates 15 years with Belvoir

After first opening its doors in 1997, Belvoir Loughborough has recently celebrated its 15th birthday and received a commemorative plaque from Belvoir’s CEO Dorian Gonsalves.

“When we opened the doors of Belvoir Loughborough on the 17th March, 1997, we were among the first Belvoir offices to open,” says proprietor Jim Mitchell. “And, over the last 15 years our business has grown considerably. From a completely cold start we’ve now got 250 properties on our books and we’re one of the biggest letting agents in Loughborough. Our staff base has grown too – we’ve now got four employees and two directors.”

As well as reaching their 15th birthday, it’s a double celebration for Belvoir Loughborough as the team have recently moved to new premises too…

“As part of our expansion plan Belvoir Loughborough has recently re-located to new premises,” continues Jim. “The move took place on Monday 5th March so it’s been a very busy time for us.

“Moving premises has given us a better, more central location in Loughborough, plus, they are more contemporary than our old premises and have parking facilities too. We are confident that this move will help us continue growing and assist us in fulfilling our key aims for the future, including providing excellent customer service.

“We haven’t celebrated our 15th birthday as of yet because we’ve been so busy organising the move – but really it’s a double celebration… so I’m sure we’ll be doing something to mark it in the near future.”

Belvoir’s CEO Dorian Gonsalves says, “It’s wonderful to see franchise owners remaining with Belvoir for such long periods of time. Jim has been a staunch advocate of franchising and Belvoir for so many years and I wish him every success for his fourth term with Belvoir. I met with Jim a few days ago and he remains as passionate and committed as the day he started with his business. He has a great team in place and he’s exceptionally well respected in his local area, and within Belvoir as a whole.”
