The Most and Least Expensive Homes Sold in March 2017

A house in Merseyside sold for £15,000 in March – the cheapest home sold so far this year. The property was in Mercer Drive in Kirkdale, and the new owner seems to have bagged themselves a bargain. It’s £3,400 cheaper than a home off Rocky Lane sold in January – previously the least expensive of the year.

At the opposite end of the scale, A detached home on Formby’s Victoria Lane sold for £1,150,000. While a house on Selworthy Road in Southport went for £1,075,000

Formby boasted three of the top five most expensive properties, meaning it regained its crown from Blundellsands, which dominated the February edition of this list.

Two of the homes were on Victoria Road, which doesn’t come as too big a surprise. Last year, Victoria Road was declared the most expensive street in Merseyside when it came to property, with an average sale price of £1.064,500 over 2016.
