The private rental sector will continue to grow in the near future, according to an industry expert; Due to the recent recession, many have chosen to rent instead of buy a property. This is because it cushioned many during, and it’s still the future for millions, according to Ms Jones, operations director at LSL Property Services. She thinks that around 20% of the population will live in rented accommodation; however this means that the rent will start to rise so that the landlords can afford to keep renting.
