A flat in Liverpool’s tallest tower has sold for more than a million pounds this year.
Apartment 3801 in the West Tower, in Brook Street, sold for £1.15m in January.
The West Tower apartment was only the second million-pound flat sold in Merseyside since 2010, our analysis found.
The other was apartment 162 at the Unity Building – which sold for £1.04m in October 2014.
Meanwhile four flats next to Sefton Park all sold for £795,000 each in May last year – two blocks in The Bridge and two in The Glen, both in Ibbotsons Lane.
And in January 2010 a flat in The Colonnades at the Albert Dock sold for £745,000.
The 40-storey West Tower was completed in 2007 but was hit hard by the recession.
The tower was put into administration in 2011 and went up for sale the following year for £12.5m – just 40% of what it was worth when it was built.
