Easter is not only a pleasant marker that we’re once more a quarter of the way into the year, but a chance to rest and catch up with friends and family. So why should kids have all the fun? We thought of some activities that even the grown-ups can enjoy this Easter holiday.
Easter “egg” hunt
If you thought this game was only for the young ones, you were mistaken. You can put an adult spin on the game by hiding your friends’ favourite beverages or putting prize money in jars, just remember where you hide it!
Easter egg decorating
An old favourite to enjoy together with the whole family is Easter egg decorating. Use white chocolate Easter eggs and edible paint to transform your delicious treats into Easter decorations. You can even hard boil some eggs to paint on, just don’t mistake them for the chocolate ones!
Candy egg “beer” pong
You know the drill. Arrange the cups into triangular formation on both ends of the table and instead of ping pong balls you can use candy or chocolate eggs to aim and throw into the cups. This can even be a fun game for the whole family should you wish to opt for a non-alcoholic alternative.
Make an Easter wreath
Wreaths are great decorations for every season and celebration. You can even add some of your decorated chocolate eggs to it. Either buy a plain wreath which you can decorate with flowers and Easter classics, or you can of course make it a DIY project.
Egg race
We just had to throw another classic in the mix. You can use hard boiled eggs or chocolate eggs. Each player needs to balance an egg on a spoon that they hold with their mouth. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins!
