Unfortunately though, even with the best referencing, a tenant’s circumstances can always change and sometimes lead to rent arrears. If this does happen, we will utilise all avenues to try and obtain payment and keep you updated at all times.
To help you achieve full peace of mind though, we can offer our Belvoir Rent Guarantee. For the cost of just £360 inc vat a year (£300 + vat) or alternatively you can pay just £25 + vat per month, if the tenants can’t or won’t pay the rent, we will pay rent out to you until they start paying again or vacant possession of the property is regained. Unlike many other policies offered by insurance companies, there is NO EXCESS and rent is payable from Day 1 of the arrears. It will cover you up to a limit of £50,000 and will even pay for any legal costs incurred whilst regaining possession.
