On Wednesday 21st September Belvoir Lettings hosted its sixth successive Charity Golf Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Sixteen teams of golfers competed in an AM-AM better ball stableford over 18 holes at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club. Yet again the course was in excellent condition and the weather was clement so playing conditions were favourable.
After the golf there was a delicious two course luncheon in the Old Hall followed by an auction and raffle with some fantastic prizes on offer. The day raised a total of £3200, which brings the proceeds up to over £18k over the 6 years of hosting the event.
James Whalley, one of the family Franchise Owners commented: “Once again we are thrilled to have supported a great cause and raised the amount we have. Credit must again go the staff at Vale Royal for their hospitality and top class service. Everyone really enjoyed the day and there were some high-scoring cards returned.
