Nottingham City Council & NEP have teamed up with British Gas to offer another phase of its Free Boiler Replacement Scheme for 2016
The offer is of course subject to eligibility and survey, so we will need to check if your property qualifies. The offer is largely dependant on the tenants personal circumstances and them being in receipt of housing benefits. The properties gas fired central heating system must also be 8 or more years old and therefore likely to be less efficient than than the installation of a newer model.
The offer also includes British Gas Heating care cover for the 1st year after installation (please note this does not cover the landlord requirements for gas safety certification)
This is all part of Nottingham’s requirements to reduce its carbon foot print
