Fantastic Guest Speakers Lined Up for February Property Workshop

Here at Belvoir Peterborough we are excited about the February investment workshop as we’ve got brilliant speakers, insightful information and property examples all lined up to share with you!

This month’s workshop is called “Selecting the Right Investment Property”. Landlords and investors will be able to learn how to look for properties, where the best local hotspots are and what makes a good investment property.

This workshop is part of a series of events hosted by Belvoir Peterborough; in November we launched monthly workshops for the benefit of investors. Each month we cover a different topic relating to property investment and we invite relevant guest speakers from the property industry such as Council Representatives and Local Construction Companies.

At “Selecting the Right Investment Property” we will be joined by Michael Owens from Zoopla Property Group who will be revealing how to optimise the property website to refine your search. Zoopla offers market insights into local property prices which can help you work out how profitable a certain property may be.

We are also pleased to have with us Paul Gower, director of Gowers Surveyors Ltd. Paul is a Chartered Surveyor, a Chartered Building Engineer and a RICS Registered Valuer who has been surveying property in and around Peterborough for 24 years. He was previously a director of Savills.

Paul will be sharing tips on how to identify a profitable property and what to look for when viewing and considering a buy to let property.

As well as tips from one of the leading property search companies, and advice from one of Peterborough’s  finest surveyors, our senior staff will be discussing how to choose the right property, what to look out for when viewing and assessing what tenants want. It is set to be an informative and inspiring evening where attendees get the chance to interact and ask questions.
