As Housing Minister, Mr Prisk made his first speech last week calling on buy to let landlords to bid for a share of a £10billion Government Guarantee and ‘provide the spark to get Britain building’, his words were echoed by Belvoir Sheffield, the leading lettings agency in Sheffield.
A review of the private rented sector by Sir Adrian Montague also highlighted the potential for the development of homes built specifically for private rent, with funding for these new properties coming from institutional investors.
