General Description

S8 offers a multitude of attractive, desirable and welcoming places to own a home. Areas within S8 that we believe have the most to offer are Beauchief, Greenhill, Meersbrook, Norton, Norton Lees, Woodseats. These are all around a 10-15 minute drive from the city centre. S8 has a tight-knit community, which has grown from hosting regular social events within the area such as The Graves 5k weekly run and the Woodseats Festival. The Woodseats festival has loads of activities to partake in, including a craft fair and art exhibition, a community parade through the streets, a family fun day and a literary evening.

However in Beauchief there is a majority of detached housing and in Norton there is a large amount of semi-detahced properties. There is a large amount of shops and restaurants within S8. On Chesterfield road you will find a huge selection of restaurants, take-aways, food and fashion shops, hairdressers, opticians, independent butchers, fishmongers as well as a Tesco and an Asda with a large Morrisons as you head out towards the A61.
