Welcome to my blog, Rumbles Blog. The blog of probably the most knowledgable English Bulldog you will ever meet!
Every dog barks on about London property prices, but did you know that Sheffield's house prices are actually rising faster than those of London for the first time in over a decade?
According to a recent survey completed by Hometrack annual growth for Sheffield house prices was 6.3%, against 3-5% in central London.
It appears to be that the growth that sprang out in London a couple of years ago has now spread out to other areas of the UK.
In my opinion as a British Bulldog property expert I would say that this is largely due to the consumers having more confidence, encouraged by a stronger economy and low interest rates.
The Sheffield property market certainly seems to be much moire vibrant than it was a year ago, with home owners looking to move looking for more space and first time buyers being assisted by the Governments Help to Buy scheme.
There is now a great deal of help for home owners looking to sell their home in Sheffield and move, aswell as help for first time buyers in Sheffield.
Don't forget to make sure you follow us on Facebook or Twitter as I've got lots more Sheffield property help and advise coming out of my paws over the coming weeks, as well as guidance on what to do and what to get up to in Sheffield, a great place to live!
