Paul Wallace-Tarry, Director of Belvoir Shrewsbury, has won an award at the 2013 National Belvoir Awards.
The awards ceremony, which was held on 20 March 2013 at the De Vere Belton Woods Hotel in Lincolnshire, recognises the leaders in the 150 branch strong Belvoir Franchise.
Paul, who has owned and run Belvoir Shrewsbury for the last 10 years, was awarded a Belvoir Group Contribution Award. Paul has represented Belvoir at the national level within the property industry. This award recognised this, and his commitment to working with organisations such as the Safeagent Scheme and the Guild of Letting & Management. These organisations are well placed to persuade the government to regulate the industry, which Paul feels is important as the industry moves forward.
Paul says, “It is time the letting industry was regulated to ensure tenants and landlords alike receive a professional service. Belvoir Shrewsbury is self-regulated through The Property Ombudsman”.
Mike Goddard, Chairman of Belvoir Lettings, presented the award to Paul, along with Ruby Wax, who co-hosted the evening.
