Moving house can be a stressful time. That’s why at Belvoir Shrewsbury we strive to make the rental process for tenants as straightforward and transparent as possible.
1. Find a property you wish to view on our website, in the Chronicle or on Rightmove
2. Call the office to book a viewing
3. Attend the viewing
4. Apply to rent the property
a. Provide personal details for referencing checks
b. Provide evidence that your salary or combined salary is at least 2.5 x the annual rent of the property you are interested in
c. Pay agreement fee of £192, plus £36 vetting fee for each
applicant
Having passed the application process:
5. Pay a deposit equal to 1.5 x a month’s rent, which is held under a protected deposit scheme
6. Pay the first month’s rent in advance
7. Congratulations! You have a new home
