Before you can apply for any of our properties you must have physically been to see it with one of our negotiators. There are several ways you can book to view a property;
1. Call the office or email sleaford@belvoir.co.uk to book a viewing
2. Come and see us at the office located next to Tesco on Northgate
3. Use the property portals (Zoopla, onthemarket, & Belvoir) to send and enquiry
PLEASE BE AWARE AS SOME OF OUR PROPERTIES WILL STILL BE TENANTED WE DO HAVE TO ALLOW 48 HOURS NOTICE TO BE GIVEN TO THE TENANT PRIOR TO A VIEWING.
Firstly you will need to pay a holding deposit of 1 weeks rent and sign an “Agreement to lease” which is your commitment to commence a tenancy at a future date. We will need you to pay this deposit before we can start any of your referencing or consider you as an applicant. (Please be aware this deposit is then put towards your 5 weeks security deposit that is paid on the day of move in. The agreement to lease does provide full details of how some or all of this deposit could be retained should referencing fail or your change your mind.
All involved parties will need to fill out the correct application form/s. We insist that these are returned to us within 48hours of applying for the property.
All forms must be completed in full in order for us to proceed with the application.
We will require x1 proof of photographic ID and x2 proofs of current address for all parties involved in the application. We will need these before we can move you into the property. A list of what we can accept for these proofs of identification is available at our office or click this link https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/497242/Right_to_Rent_Document_Checks_-_a_User_Guide.pdf
We usually carry out 3 references (dependent on each individuals circumstances). These are; credit check, employer’s reference and a last landlord reference. We will contact you when we have requested for these references to confirm we have started the application process.
Once we have received satisfactory references, we will contact you to arrange a move in date and time that is convenient for you. You will come to our office to pay your rent and deposit as well as sign your tenancy agreement and collect the keys!
