Burslem is commonly known as the mother town of Stoke-on-Trent with history of pot banks. There is a town centre with shops and entertainment and some of the oldest pubs brimming with history like the famously haunted pub and rumoured cellars that reach to other historical places. Burslem’s claim to fame; Ian Fraser Kilmister, a musician, singer and songwriter who founded the rock band Motörhead, was born in Burslem. Burslem has a lot of reasonably priced property for families and investors. The whole of the ST6 is a prime rental area.
Tunstall is another town in the ST6 area where there lots of reasonably prices houses. Tunstall town centre has major supermarkets like Asda and Lidl and other retail brands in its retail park. Families also enjoy Victoria Park, a green space in the town. It is commonly known that Robbie Williams was born in Tunstall.
