2015 has already been an incredibly successful year for us here at Belvoir Sutton Coldfield, but nothing could have prepared us for the incredible news that we have hit- and more importantly exceeded- our target for our charity campaign!
Over the past 12 months, our letting agents in Sutton Coldfield have been taking part in a charity fundraiser that has been going on throughout all our UK offices to celebrate Belvoir’s 20th anniversary of being a national property lettings and management company.
Giving Something Back
Our customers have given us so much support over the past 20 years, and we thought it was the perfect celebration to give a little something back to those who many not have much at all.
The initial goal for our 160 offices was to reach £20,000 which would be shared out between a wide range of charities that are close to our hearts. But a week before Christmas, we managed to smash that target, meaning that as the New Year arrives, we should have a couple of thousand more to add to that impressive pot!
Every single one of our offices around the country has pulled together to raise a massive amount for charity, and we can’t quite believe that we exceeded such a huge target with ease!
How Did We Do It?
So, how did we manage to raise £20,000 in a year? Through wonderfully donations and fundraising days and events, that’s how!
From exceptionally generous individual donations from our staff and clients, to charity golf days, quiz nights and sky dives- and of course the odd cake sale here and there-we think that it’s safe to say that our ever-growing Belvoir family have really done ourselves proud!
Our Causes
The difficult part of fundraising is to choose a single cause to donate your funds to. There are so many deserving charities out there and we couldn’t bring ourselves to just pick one.
Instead, we decided to share the pot of money out between a wide range of national, regional and local causes that we thought could use a bit of help in the New Year. With money still flowing in right up to 2016, we’re hoping that our donations can go that little bit further!
From local hospices and ambulance services to Macmillan Cancer Support, we’ve chosen a wide range of causes to benefit from our charity drive!
Our Commercial Director, Dorian Gonsalves has commented on our fundraising efforts, saying :

We are delighted that our efforts are going to help those most in need in the UK this New Year, giving many a bright and happy 2016 to look forward to!
