Although tenants in your property are legally obligated to remain in their tenancy until the termination date of their tenancy and will be responsible for paying the rent in full up until that point, there are times when you may find that your tenant wants or needs to leave earlier than the agreed end date on their tenancy agreement.

- Paying rent until new tenants are found – which doesn’t usually take too long.
- Helping you find replacement tenants
- Keeping the house in a presentable manner even if they are packing and being mindful of the building that they are leaving behind when moving furniture.
These aren’t unreasonable compromises, and you will probably find that your tenants will be happy to comply if it means that they can leave earlier.
