Finding purpose in pies after a challenging pandemic, this forward-thinking bakery has built a passionate community around food, having sold approximately over 13,000 pies. No delicious bake would be complete without a freshly brewed coffee though, another specialty of this brilliant bakery. Open later until 8pm on Thursdays, Motley’s Pies, bakes and coffees can be enjoyed around the clock- breakfast, lunch or dinner.

5. Y Shed
A hidden gem in Gowerton, this independent café is known for its brunch menu! Serving a range of delicious meals from breakfast classics (including fresh pancakes) to lunchtime favorites, it goes down well with the whole family, especially with it being dog-friendly. From April, Y Shed will be offering service outdoors, just in time to enjoy the Spring sunshine. They’ve also added some delicious Easter specials to their menu so make sure you pop down to try these dishes before they’re gone.

This wonderful world of sweet treats opened its doors in 2022. The family-run, Yummy Bears, offers a wide range of sugary specialties from American candy and classic ‘Pick n Mix’ to indulgent fudge and traditional favorites. Not only is this a magical shop to visit, but you can also shop online and collect in store so you’ll never go without your favourite sweet treat!
