This month we took part in the annual Mumbles centurion, competing with other Swansea athletes in a race against the clock!
The Mumbles Centurion is a three-day sportif based in Mumbles. Athletes take part in swimming, biking and running 100km of clear waters, challenging climbs and twisting trails rewarded by unbeatable views of Mumbles and across the Gower.
The event is close to our hearts at Belvoir. As a continued sponsor and supporter of the event year on year, we are proud to consistently see people push their limits and achieve incredible feats across the three-day event.
This year, our Managing Director, Ben, and Lettings Manager, Kirsty, joined the 20km run from Oxwich in Gower to Underhill Park in Mumbles for our chosen charity of the year, Faith in Families.
Established in 1999, Faith in Families helps to make a real difference to children and families across Swansea and Brecon. Some of their services include:
- Childcare
- Lunch clubs
- School projects
- Cooking classes
- After school clubs
- Baby sensory groups
And much more.
We managed to hit and surpass our fundraising target and raised a total of £330 for this fantastic organisation. With one in three children living in poverty in Swansea, we’re proud to partner with Faith in Families to help make a difference to the local community and hopefully the City as a whole.
