Tenant Fees (Effective from 1st June 2019)

In addition to rent, tenants may be required to make the following payments:

Before Your Tenancy Begins (Payable to Belvoir Tamworth)

πŸ’° Holding Deposit: Equivalent to 1 week’s rent

πŸ’° Security Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeks’ rent

During Your Tenancy (If Applicable)

πŸ“Œ Utilities – Gas, electricity, water, and sewerage

πŸ“Œ Communications – Telephone and broadband

πŸ“Œ Cable/Satellite Installation – Subject to landlord approval

πŸ“Œ Subscription Services – Cable/satellite supplier costs

πŸ“Œ Television Licence – As required by law

πŸ“Œ Council Tax – Payable to the local authority

Other Permitted Payments

In accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, tenants may also be liable for:

πŸ”Ή Loss of keys or security devices – Reasonable costs may be charged for replacements

πŸ”Ή Changes to the tenancy agreement – If agreed by the landlord, charges will be within legal limits

πŸ”Ή Early termination of the tenancy – Subject to landlord approval and within permitted limits
