Tenant Fees (Effective from 1st June 2019)
In addition to rent, tenants may be required to make the following payments:
Before Your Tenancy Begins (Payable to Belvoir Tamworth)
π° Holding Deposit: Equivalent to 1 weekβs rent
π° Security Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeksβ rent
During Your Tenancy (If Applicable)
π Utilities β Gas, electricity, water, and sewerage
π Communications β Telephone and broadband
π Cable/Satellite Installation β Subject to landlord approval
π Subscription Services β Cable/satellite supplier costs
π Television Licence β As required by law
π Council Tax β Payable to the local authority
Other Permitted Payments
In accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, tenants may also be liable for:
πΉ Loss of keys or security devices β Reasonable costs may be charged for replacements
πΉ Changes to the tenancy agreement β If agreed by the landlord, charges will be within legal limits
πΉ Early termination of the tenancy β Subject to landlord approval and within permitted limits
