I joined Belvoir in 2014 as Property Maintenance Manager. Previous to that I worked for a local care company as Accounts Administrator, but also ran the maintenance schedule for the home, and before that I worked for the local newspaper for 9 years.
I started my working career in the Ministry of Defence, with many different roles over 19 years. In 1999 I gave up full time working to go back to college to study Performing Arts, where I gained an HND. As part of our final project (dissertation), I was granted Lottery Funding to make a film and with the money that was left I applied for a change of use of funds and set up a Stage School with three friends from college, which ran for many years.
In my spare time, as you can probably guess, I am involved in local theatre. I’ve also done a bit of TV in the past.
Along with my husband, I also enjoy gardening and particularly growing vegetables. We always grow too many so love to share them around with friends and neighbours.
