A flat close to the end of the northern runway at Heathrow would be subject to ground noise from aircraft warming up. But having been in David Close flats they are well insulated from noise, so this shouldn’t be much of an issue.
The property will let to people connected to the airport who wants to be close to work. 76,000 people are employed at Heathrow with more in the surrounding area in connected businesses.
One bed flats will let for circa £850pcm in David Close and the asking price of £179,950 makes for a gross yield of 5.6%. However good information is valuable when well used, and a David Close one bed sold for around £145,000 April this year and a couple in 2012 for a similar amount. I would not expect the vendor to achieve the asking price. It only takes one buyer to push the price up though….
The property looks to be in good condition and should let.
