Some of my landlords like property that they can get their teeth into and add some value. Others just want pristine property new builds that will give them no hassle for many years. Well this one is more of the former type.
A four bedroom semi-detached property on the market with Oakwood Estates for £350,000 on top of the station. Crossrail arrives less than ½ a mile away from 2019, and that 2019 is really not so long away! The property is a semi on Colham Mill Road just off Station Road, a residential area but close to West Drayton and all the exciting developments there.
The price is £350,000. The lower spectrum rent in the area is £1,450pcm for a four bed property, which makes a gross yield of 5%. You really won’t get many four bedroom properties with this kind of gross yield at the moment.
I am sure this property will need further investment and TLC but the location must offer a good long term prospect for capital growth with the proximity to a new Crossrail station, if anywhere in the UK does.
