This studio is on the market for £114,950 in a less fashionable part of West Drayton than my previous property blog. The interior looks tired and it will need some work to bring the property to market standard in what looks to be a repossessed property. But there I hope that you would be able to add a little sparkle and some value. I love property that might offer good value!
If you want inspiration about what can be achieved this finish is worth looking at – but here the price reduction is also interesting, the market will only bear so much!
The Whitethorn Place property is only half a mile from West Drayton Station so again should be comfortable walking commuting distance. Parking is non allocated parking off the road. Not ideal but not a show stopper.
Studio’s in West Drayton are letting for between £650pcm and £750pcm at the moment depending on condition (not withstanding the example above). Based on a nice finish and a let of £700pcm that makes for a yield of 7.2% on the base selling price.
In this climate that’s a good yield and return on your money.
